At Tot Bop, we LOVE a party! We pride ourselves on creating a party atmosphere in every class we teach, so imagine our birthday parties… the difference is, we like to create something really special for YOU, something bespoke, which reflects the child you are celebrating! We love creating happy times for all the children in front of us but we also know the memories last forever. Birthday parties are an opportunity to create those memories for the children and parents that they will hold onto as their little ones grow.
So, what should you expect at a Tot Bop party? Our dance parties bring the fun to you with an explosion of songs, dances, music, lights, props, parachute, bubbles and more! In truth, each party has been well planned and thought through in close consultation with the parent/carer to suit them and their child. Suitable from age 1 up to and including age 9, we tailor the content to you and provide you with an entertainer who will deliver a jam packed session full of fun, funky and imaginative content that your child and their friends will LOVE! All our entertainers are Tot Bop teachers and dance professionals, so you can be sure you will be getting top notch quality!
We offer 2 party packages, depending on what you are after; a shorter session of 45 mins of entertainment or a longer session of an hour and a half, which could be split into 2 sessions either side of food/cake.
Let me walk you through the booking process…
Initially, decide on the length of package you would like (short or long). This could be to suit your budget, the age and attention span of your child, or if you have other activities planned in the party. Once you have decided on that, fill in the party enquiry form on our website here. A member of the team will then contact you to discuss your requirements in more detail and confirm availability. Once everything is decided and discussed and you are happy to go ahead, we ask for a deposit in order to book your party. Once this is paid, you are booked in! Then, about a week before the party, we will be in touch again with our plan for the session, to give you a chance to tweak it if required.
So, what’s involved in each session? Here’s a quick breakdown for you.
Package A: the 45 min session…
- Fun, funky and accessible short ‘follow on’ dance routines to suit the age of the child
- Dance based party games (unless below the age of 3) OR
- Short dances involving props/puppets for children under 3
- A bespoke ‘storytime’ routine, where we can either suggest or create something based around a favourite character, theme, story or song.
- Tot Bop Boogie party dance & mini disco (unless below the age of 3)
- Parachute fun!
- Sensory cool down with scarfs & bubbles
This package is perfect for all ages, but particularly younger children or short attention spans. It also gives you a shorter option if you are on a tighter budget and fits nicely around food and any other activities you might want to include.
Package B: the hour and a half session…
- Fun, funky and accessible short ‘follow on’ dance routines to suit the age of the child
- Two dance based party games (unless below the age of 3) OR
- Short dances involving props/puppets for children under 3
- The choice of either two ‘storytime’ routines OR learn a fun & funky choreographed dance routine to a favourite song (eg. Taylor Swift or something from The Greatest Showman for example). This is particularly popular for children aged 6 and above and is a great way to make the birthday boy/girl feel special!
- Tot Bop Boogie party dance & longer mini disco
- Parachute fun!
- Sensory cool down with scarfs & bubbles
- This package is often split into two sessions of 45 mins either side of food/cake
This package is suitable for all ages and can work nicely either side of a break for food/cake. It is perfect for older children who like learning super cool dance routines with a dance professional, as learning a choreographed dance routine takes time, so splitting it over the longer period works well. Equally, younger children can benefit from the longer session too, with lots more of their favourites worked in, with props, puppets, parachute & bubbles!
What we bring…
We bring the fun to you, so you can sit back and enjoy the party! Your Tot Bop entertainer will arrive 20 mins before the party is due to start in order to set up in adequate time before your guests arrive. We bring a speaker to play our music, party lights, our Tot Bop banner, props, coloured scarfs, bubble machine, parachute. We will also come armed with stickers to make the children feel special throughout the party!!
Bespoke to you
As I already said, parties are about creating great memories and celebrating YOUR child! It is important to us to work with you to create something that your child and their friends will love. So, let us know if they have any favourite songs, characters or themes … we will do our best to work them into your party plan to make it special for them.

We are super experienced at working with all kinds of children and tailoring our Tot Bop Party experience to suit them to make it special for them.
