dance class term structure
Each school term is usually 12-14 weeks in length. To fall in line with this, each term of dance classes is split into two halves of 5-7 weeks. View the current half term dates here.
Class content will be varied on a half termly basis. Experience has taught us that young children particularly need repetition in order to learn and build confidence. Half a term is usually enough time for this to happen before they are ready again for a fresh challenge. Certain elements of the class will remain the same for continuity, while the building blocks, such as the travelling steps or the narrative section will move on and vary.
