Holiday Classes & Workshops
Tot Bop provide dance classes and dance workshops for children aged 1-9 in the school holidays. Younger ages group classes are parent/carer participatory and workshops for the older children are over a few hours and are drop off only, giving you parents & carers a much needed break, while your child has a great time dancing, performing and building their confidence.
Where?
Usually in both Aston Clinton & Leighton Buzzard, but please be aware, venues may vary. We usually use the following spaces where possible:

When & What?
9.30-10.05am Tiny Tots (age 1-2.5) Class
This class is parent/carer participatory and focuses on providing a fun and engaging introduction to music, movement and rhythm. There is a strong emphasis on rhythm, moving to the beat and copying ‘actions’ and simple movement patterns. This is all done in a fun, imaginative and engaging way, using tools such as props, puppets, instruments, bubbles etc.
10.20-11.05am Baby Boppers (age 2.5 – rising 5) Class
This class is parent/carer participatory and introduces the structure of a dance class in a fun and imaginative way. Children learn to follow instruction and develop both gross and fine motor skills further, such as walking and running at different speeds, galloping, jumping etc. Children submerge themselves in their imaginations in the storytime section and groove out in the Tot Bop Boogie, where even the grown ups get up and dance! At the end of the class, children chill out in the sensory cool down with scarfs, lights and bubbles.
11.15am-3.15pm Funky Monkeys / Groovy Movers (age 4-9) Workshop
This extended session is drop off only. During the session, children will partake in a fun, funky and imaginative Tot Bop dance class, build confidence with fun and exciting games and activities, make their own instrument in a craft session and learn a routine to present to the parents at the end of each day. Packed lunch and refillable water bottle required.
